Summer Cocktail recipes – The Mojito

Olive Magazine’s recipe for The Mojito



Mojito literally means ‘something wet’ – try making this minty, lime-packed cocktail at home for a party

  1. Put the sugar in the bottom of a glass and pour the citrus juice over to just cover it. Add 2 long sprigs of mint. Muddle (gently pound) the juice, sugar and mint.
  2. Add ice to the top of the glass, fill the glass two-thirds full with soda water.
  3. Add the rum.
  4. Stir and add a dash of Angostura bitters.
  5. Top with slices of lime.
