9th OCTOBER 2011, 11AM

We are celebrating our Harvest Festival at St Michael’s on 9th October at 11am. This is a family communion service and all are welcome. As is traditional, we bring our gifts of fruit and vegetables, whether fresh or tinned, to decorate the church.

After the service, all are welcome to stay for coffee and delicious cakes!

This year, we have something special to celebrate, as our new church heating will have been installed. Now, our winter services can be conducted in comfort!

Each year, we decorate the church prior to the harvest service, but this year we will need to do a thorough clear up, because of the building work. Any help with this from villagers would be much appreciated in the week leading up to Harvest Festival. Please contact Margaret Pickering, Church Warden, on 01327-860335, if you can help out.

Afterwards, the harvest donations will be given to the Hope Centre in Northampton.
