Village Hall – forthcoming events

Dear Braddenites,

Village Quiz:
The Village Quiz night will be going ahead on Friday 21st October.

Prices have had to go up, because Mr Sarson has had to put up the price of fish and chips. The price will be £8.50 per ticket.

We will be selling alcohol i.e. white/red wine, beers/lager, soft drinks (J2O/lemonade etc) and there will be a raffle (so prizes would
be appreciated).

Village Christmas Fayre – Saturday 3rd December 10am – 2pm:
We have had loads of interest in the Christmas Fayre, and given this, it will definitely be going ahead.
It will be held on Saturday 3rd December between 10am and 2pm.

We anticipate having stalls selling:
Quality Country Clothing
Jewellery
Christmas Wreaths
Art work and cards
Photographic works
Gifts for the home
Quality Skin care
Used books
Cake Stall with mulled wine/tea/coffee

We will be selling raffle tickets in aid of the Village Hall, and all profits from the Used Book stall and Cake Stall will also be going to
the Hall funds.
If you know of anyone who lives locally who might be interested in joining us, please ask them to contact me on 01327 860849.

I would appreciate help in the following areas:
1. The making of Christmas themed cakes/biscuits/sweets to sell on our
stall i.e. mince pies, gingerbread, that sort of thing.
2. Help making teas etc, if (fingers crossed) we get busy.
3. Contributions to the raffle

It would be nice if this could become an annual fundraiser for the village, and that we can highlight our local businesses.
