Bradden Rogation Walk Sunday 8th May at 2.30pm
All are welcome to join us for the 2016 Bradden Rogation Walk. In the olden days, it was known as “Beating the Bounds”. Prayers would be said as people walked around the Parish boundaries for farmers, fields, livestock and the land. Instead of our usual service, we are literally following in their footsteps on Sunday.
We are starting from St Michael’s at 2.30pm. Everyone is welcome, including dogs. They are also welcome, but we remind everyone that you are responsible for your own dog.
After the walk, we will all meet up in the Village Hall for a lovely tea, where Joan and Margaret and Rev. Lulu Pelly will be providing us with a fantastic village tea.
We hope that you can come!
